A Kuwait based valet parking company is hiring Accountant for Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.
- Tax Compliance: Handle tax-related tasks, including filings and ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Audit and Control: Conduct internal audits, identify areas for financial improvement, and implement corrective measures.
- Support Strategic Decisions: Collaborate with management by providing financial insights and supporting business strategies.
- Site Audits: Perform audits at different company locations and ensure financial compliance across all sites.
- Inventory and Asset Management: Oversee inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a professional accounting role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
- Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
