A leading construction company is hiring Store Keeper for their Jeddah Store

A Dubai based construction company is hiring responsible and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and maintain inventory at their new store in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Dispatching Goods: 

  • Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring all materials are checked for quality and accuracy. Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately.

Storage and Organization: 

  • Properly store and organize materials, tools, and supplies in a systematic manner to facilitate easy access while maintaining their quality and condition. Ensure all items are securely stored and labeled.

Inventory Management:  

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory using software such as Excel or other company-approved tools. Track material movements, usage, and keep inventory levels in check.

 Issuing Goods:  

  • Prepare and issue materials, tools, or supplies to employees or departments as needed, ensuring correct documentation is completed for every outgoing item.

Reordering and Stock Control:

  • Continuously monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is maintained at required levels. Place orders for new materials or supplies as needed to avoid shortages or delays in projects.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all materials and tools are stored in compliance with safety regulations. Follow company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Reporting and Documentation:

Regularly generate and share inventory reports with management or relevant teams. Highlight any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory and provide solutions.

Maintenance of Equipment:

Oversee the proper maintenance and functioning of all tools, machinery, and storage equipment used in the store.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a store keeper, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good understanding of inventory management processes and software tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
