Hiring experienced candidates as Procurement Specialist in Kuwait.
Location: Kuwait
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement, including purchase orders and contracts.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery.
- Conduct vendor evaluations, monitor supplier performance.
- Negotiate vendor terms and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain records.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams.
- Provide reports on costs, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records for audit, stay updated with relevant regulations and ensure proper reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Supply Chain.
- 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain mgmt. experience (retail/FMCG/health/beauty preferred).
- Proficient in procurement tools and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Power BI and Advances Excel is a requirement for this role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
