Al Khalidia Holding Group, a reputed Bahraini company established in 1990 to provide the supply of high quality environmentally friendly, bulk and specialty chemicals to the Bahrain market is on the lookout for a talented Estimation Engineer who specializes in ELV, Security, and ICT Systems to help drive their projects forward.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimations, and collaborating with project teams to ensure all engineering and budgeting requirements are met. This position requires a combination of strong analytical skills, engineering expertise, and effective communication.
Candidate Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in ELV/Security & ICT Systems project estimation in the GCC region.
- License: Preferably a valid GCC driving license (not mandatory).
Key Career Skills
- In-depth understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools, ERP software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of ELV, Security & ICT Systems and Low Current Systems.
- Ability to analyze technical documents, drawings, and requirements efficiently.
- Experience with Tender Submissions, Site Surveys, and Technical Support.
- CCNA / MCP certifications and certifications from Security System Manufacturers/OEMs are a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and layouts for ELV/Security/ICT System projects.
- Review and analyze project specifications to generate accurate and competitive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather project requirements.
- Interpret and review engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, estimation templates, and project databases.
- Assist with presales activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and tender submissions.
- Conduct site surveys, arrange quotes, and provide technical support to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, technical specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide estimation reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making.
