Position Overview
As a Procurement Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing procurement operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build strong relationships with reliable vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate with project and technical teams to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
- Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Address and resolve procurement-related issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in engineering or construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and local market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary ranges between 4000-5000 SAR.
- Additional benefits as per company policy.
