An IT Solutions company in Bahrain is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing environment, assisting in the development, management, and updating of various IT-related documents. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write IT procedures and manuals to ensure smooth and consistent operational processes.
  • Collaborate with different teams to develop and update project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
  • Manage documents on SharePoint libraries, ensuring proper categorization, version control, and ease of access for the team.
  • Assist in creating and updating system documentation with minimal instructions, following internal guidelines and best practices.
  • Review, proofread, and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the use of Office365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint for document management, including uploading, organizing, and setting permissions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with flowcharting tools and creating process diagrams (Visio or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks with minimal instructions or supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting clear and concise documentation.

Experince:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar documentation or IT-related role.
  • Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and handling complex technical documentation is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycle, and project management processes is a plus.
