Position Overview:
As a Bariatric Surgeon, you will specialize in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced surgical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, from pre-operative evaluation to post-operative management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bariatric surgeries such as gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and gastric banding.
- Assess patients’ medical history, conduct physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide pre- and post-surgery guidance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on surgical options, risks, and post-operative lifestyle adjustments.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in bariatric procedures and participate in continuous training.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with board certification in surgery.
- Active medical license in the relevant specialty.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Consultant Bariatric Surgeon.
- Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and open bariatric procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
