A fashion brand based in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on all company costs to support financial efficiency and decision-making. This role is critical in ensuring accurate budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify trends and manage expenses.
- Prepare cost reports, including cost of sales, operational costs, and other financial metrics.
- Monitor inventory costs, identifying and addressing variances.
- Compare actual costs with budgeted figures, providing insights and corrective recommendations.
- Develop costing models to estimate product costs, margins, and future expenditures.
- Compile cost data to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Generate management reports summarizing expenses and financial performance.
- Implement cost control systems aligned with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing cost reports and budgets.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
