A company operating in logistics field in Saudi Arabia is looking for a skilled and responsible heavy truck driver to join their logistics team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in transporting food and beverage products, ensuring timely and safe deliveries across various locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for food and beverage deliveries.
- Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely transportation of goods.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload products, ensuring secure handling to maintain product quality.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, deliveries, and truck conditions.
- Report any delays, issues, or mechanical problems to the logistics team.
- Assist with inventory checks and collaborate with warehouse staff when needed.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience as a heavy truck driver, preferably in the food and beverage sector.
- Familiarity with loading techniques and safe food handling procedures.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to read delivery instructions and navigate efficiently.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor truck repairs are an advantage.
