Storekeeper job opportunity in an Engineering & Construction Company

We are a well-established Engineering & Construction Company based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we are urgently seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our team.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of construction materials and equipment across multiple project sites.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Implement effective stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with project teams and procurement departments to fulfill material requirements.
  • Inspect and verify materials upon delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and secure storage environment.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports and manage discrepancies promptly.
  • Follow established safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment in the warehouse.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a contracting company, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems or software.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Eligibility

  • Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
  • Transferable Iqama is required.
  • Must be able to join within 10 days of hiring.
