We are a well-established Engineering & Construction Company based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we are urgently seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of construction materials and equipment across multiple project sites.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Implement effective stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with project teams and procurement departments to fulfill material requirements.
- Inspect and verify materials upon delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain an organized and secure storage environment.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and manage discrepancies promptly.
- Follow established safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment in the warehouse.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a contracting company, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems or software.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Eligibility
- Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
- Transferable Iqama is required.
- Must be able to join within 10 days of hiring.
