A leading company in the construction industry in Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced and dedicated QA/QC Manager to join their team and lead quality assurance and control efforts for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards across all project phases. Qualifications and Skills Required
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years in quality management within large construction or infrastructure projects, with a preference for experience in the GCC region. Proven experience in leading quality teams and managing quality processes across diverse projects.
- Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certified Manager, or other relevant quality management certifications are essential. Additional certifications or training in safety management, environmental management, or related fields will be a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to establish and enforce quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage quality compliance across various stakeholders and meet strict deadlines while maintaining the highest standards.
- Strong leadership with experience working in the GCC region being a distinct advantage.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous and will be considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the implementation of quality assurance and control procedures across all project phases.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, conduct regular inspections, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews of project activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain a detailed quality control system and documentation, including reports, logs, and corrective action plans.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff to build a strong culture of quality across the team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in quality management.
